• How often should I change the Pre-filters on my XERO system?

  You should regularly change the sediment and chloramine pre-filters every 1 to 2 months maximum, or after about 5,000 gallons, to protect and maintain the health of the RO membrane.

• When do I need to replace the DI resin in my XERO water system?

  You should replace the DI resin when your TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) meter reading creeps over 10 ppm. Use the refillable cartridge and pack the fresh resin tightly to the top.

• How do I winterize my XERO pure water system?

  If storing the system for winter or prolonged non-use, use the supplied RO Guardian to prevent bacterial growth. Mix one packet per RO Membrane with a gallon of water, pour it into the housing to soak the membrane, and cap the wastewater fitting. If it may freeze, add RV antifreeze as XERO systems should never be exposed to freezing temperatures.

• What is the warranty on XERO water purification systems?

  XERO Pure Water Systems come with a 12-year guarantee on all XERO parts. This covers structural defects but does not cover damage caused by freezing.

• What should I do if my system's water production drops?

  A drop in production is often caused by a clog in the pre-filter from sediment or debris, low supply pressure from the property source, or colder water temperatures which naturally slow the flow. Check your pre-filter and supply line first.
